Walpole Makes Strides for ACS

For the past five years, Walpole High School students and teachers have participated in the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides walk to benefit Cancer, specifically Breast Cancer, research. We have donated thousands of dollars over the years to the American Cancer Society; however, last year, the high cost of buses along with the decline in student attendance at the walk made our donations minimal. In an effort to increase the funds raised, bring the Walpole community together, and create a tradition, the Walpole High School Student Council is creating a new town-wide event to show our local support for a great cause.
