Khamari's Brave Battle

Khamari is a fun loving , sweet, awesome , amazing boy! He loves soccer and basketball and everything you would think of when you think of a 9 year old little boy! One day is mom noticed that he wasnt acting just right, and that he was having a hard time keeping his balance. She took him to the doctor and thats the day their lifes changed forever. After performing some test within the office the doctor sent him right to Wake Med where they were told that Khamari had a cancerous brain tumor, and they needed to make a very fast choice as to where to go next, Duke or UNC. They were then off to Duke where they were then faced with gut renching reality that their baby boy had cancer. The next few days where full of scans and doctors and within 4 days of being admitted into Duke Khamari was in the OR having brain surgery to try to move the cancer. They were not able to get it all due to the position of the tumor. Khamari and his family have been in the hospital for serveral weeks with months if not years of this tough road ahead of them. He has started Chemo and Radiation and will contiune this treatment for 6 weeks and then start another treatment until he can be FULLY CURED!!!!! We believe in the healing power of GOD and the power of prayer, and we know that Khamari will be healed and he will fully recover from this and be the basketball playing soccer loving amazing little boy that we all we love.
