Selam Kidane
Donation protected
Selam Kidane was born January 1, 1990, in Eritrea in a town called May Men. She just passed away on April 8th, around noon time at the Dayton Hospice place, after a short brief stay.
She died at a younger age of 34 years old, and she is survived by her husband
Eyob Araya Amberas, her sons Nahom 12 years old and Ethan 8 years old and their daughter Gelila, 3 and half years old. Eyob was driving a semi truck to make a living in supporting the family.
Selam has siblings in Eritrea and in Holland. In 2013 the three of them migrated to the United States as refugees and have been residing in Dayton, Ohio. They have been living in Dayton, Ohio for 10 years.
For the last three years, Selam has been under her doctor's care when diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought hard with tremendous courage to overcome her illness. Our family had to watch her deteriorate slowly over time, the kids watching their beloved mother fighting for her life. Selam and family are members of the Saint Gabriel, Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo church.
Selam was a beautiful person loved by all members of the church and was active in all the church affairs. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by the lives of her children, family members and people who have known her.
Please help my family during this critical time by being there for me and my children and supporting us with the expenses due to life limitations that I will now have financially. I am no longer able to work full time as a truck driver and will need to be there supporting my children financially but also emotionally due to the psychological effects this will have on them. My kids need me more than ever now. My youngest is only 3 years old. With the support from you & God I pray we will overcome this terrible situation. Even if you can’t donate, a share and a prayer would be just as appreciated.
Love to you all & thank you so much your support
