Lyric's Uganda Mission Trip

Throughout these past few months I have learned so much about myself and my relationship with God. One thing that I have recently learned more about is the value of waiting and being patient, putting my trust solely in God and waiting for Him to give me answers when He knows I’m ready for them.  I really look forward to learning much more about who God is and who He wants me to be over this next year.

This Spring Break, March 11-19, 2016, I will be going on a short-term mission trip to Uganda, Africa, with a team of 11 other students and 2 leaders from REACH, my church’s student ministry. We will spend the week serving the children of Uganda by teaching them Bible stories, spending time with them, and sharing the love of Jesus with them. We also plan to serve the local community’s physical and spiritual needs by building a pit latrine and holding a jigger removal clinic, all while encouraging, praying for, and sharing the Gospel with those we will be serving. . I am praying that God would change me through this trip and prepare me to serve the people of Uganda with compassion, courage, and humility.

First, I am seeking to raise $2300 to cover the cost of the trip. As you can imagine, this is a very big step of faith for me. Would you prayerfully consider joining my team by giving a gift of $25, $50, $100, $200 or more? Of course, any amount that you give would be a blessing.
