Leah's Fight
Donation protected
I never thought I would have to do this... On Tuesday, Leah was diagnosed with infectious pneumonia and was hospitalized, by Wednesday afternoon she was being transported to a critical care hospital, and has slowly worsened and is now in septic shock.
For those of you who know me, you know that Leah has been my life for the past 5 years. She quickly became my support system, my best friend, my travel and adventure partner, the best dog cousin for my nieces and so much more. I cannot give up on her, as I do not think I can do life without her.
Unfortunately, with her condition right now, she is at a 50% survival rate and is now required to be hospitalized for 5-7 days while being on high oxygen, a feeding tube, receiving antibiotics, blood transfusions, and more.
With this extensive treatment, her vet bills are only rising and we are now looking at a 20k or more vet bill. This is a lot for me to take on, so I am reaching out to my community for help. Any little bit will help us, and if not monetary, please keep Leah in your prayers as she continues this fight.
