FINAL CALL - I'm shutting down the campaign Tuesday the 25th (tomorrow).   Please read my final update with my thanks and more about what this campaign has meant to me.  Thanks everybody! 


I am a career public defense lawyer who has worked representing indigent misdemeanor clients for the past 20 years in the small town of Vashon, WA.  I also may be the only openly transgendered woman trial attorney in Washington state. 

For 20 years I've been providing a significant public service to my community.  I offer counseling and ongoing support to my clients accused of petty crimes, most do very well and do not re-offend.

Since I came out as an openly transgendered attorney I bring diversity to the practice of a law and I am a role model for the transgendered community.  Additionally, I am also a distinctive and active voice for the civil rights of all with a particular awareness for transgender rights.  

But part-time public defense doesn't pay that well, I'm 63 years old, I have MS, I can only work so much , I'm pretty broke and my car just died.  I'm campaigning here to get $9,000 so I can buy a reliable, economical car and keep doing what I'm doing.  Please help me do this.  I'm open to any questions or reference checks.  Thanks
