Roberto's Medical Expenses

My name is Andrea Cruz sister of Roberto Cruz. My brother has just turned 21 in May. He is a young man full of life who enjoys hanging out with his friends, going to school which is his number one priority, and going to the gym. On September 11 he had a life changing motorcycle accident caused by a wreck less driver. He was on his way to the store when the driver didn't look to his left and merged onto the street causing him to stop in the middle of the road once he saw my brother, my brother tried sliding on his motorcycle, but it was too late. Once he hit the car his right leg was amputated and he dislocated his left wrist along with other minor injuries. Roberto's accident has came as a shock to both him and all of our family. He is currently still in the hospital awaiting surgeries on his leg and will also require a heart surgery along the way. We are all still praying for a speedy recovery. His medical expenses are going to be extremely high and so will the cost of a prosthetic leg when his leg heals. We are asking for donations to cover these expenses and anything else he may need along the way. Our mother has been a widow mother since 2009 when our father passed away. She has also suffered through many medical issues and has not worked since then. We would appreciate any help we can get. We all would like to see Roberto recovery quickly and continue on the same positive path that he was on. This has been life changing for him, but we have faith that he will keep his spirits positive as always and continue to strive towards his goals just like before the accident.
