Mathis Family

Donation protected
As many have heard the sweet Mathis family was badly burned in a camping accident when the heater they were using caused a flash fire. Mike kicked the door open and threw the kids out to save them from the fire. Him and Amie then drove themselves and the kids 30 minutes to call 911 to get help even after having 3rd degree burns. Mike, Amie, and their 7 year old little girl Abbie, were airlifted from Richfield, UT to The University of Utah hospital in SLC, UT while the two boys Mason and Marshal were taken by ambulance.  Marshal was treated and released he has some burns on his ears and hands and is staying with his grandma and grandpa Stoker. Mason is burned about 18% of his body mostly on his left arm and face. He is being the rock of the family and helping out his siblings especially Abbie.  Abbie(7) sustained burns over 18% of her body, she's being so brave with the help of her sweet brothers and family! Amie sustained burns 26% of her body but is staying strong and very positive. Mike sustained burns at 36% of his body and will require multiple surgeries. He is the main provider of the family and will remain in the hospital and not working for at least 12 weeks but most likely longer. Please donate and help this wonderful family who themselves have helped so many others. Thank you for your support!
