Rigoberto Reyes Jr. & Family Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Maribel Reyes. I am setting this gofundme for my nephew Rigoberto Reyes Jr, his wife Rosa Reyes, and their two children under the age of 4 were in an automobile accident on Monday, July 24, 2023, in Laredo, Texas on the loop 20 Cuatro Ventos.

This tragedy had been a very difficult and critical moment for the entire Reyes and Ramirez family. This accident caused an enormous impact that changed my nephew and his family's lives. His little family sustained injuries that almost cost them their lives. by the grace of God, they are here with us.

On Monday, July 24, 2023, my nephew's son Nathan who is 4 years old had a cardiac arrest was performed CPR at the scene and was airlifted to San Antonio. Upon arrival, he had emergency surgery to reconstruct his face and injury to his left eye. He has a broken cheekbone, 2 broken arms and a long cut on his liver due to the extent of his injuries he needs to go to University Hospital every week for follow-ups.

My nephew's other son Noah who is 3 years old had a deep cut on his head which he had stitches. He is suffering from 4 broken ribs and a punctured lung. H also has a cut on his left ear, his left neck and his face are all scraped. He was also airlifted to San Antonio that evening of the accident.

My nephew Rigoberto Reyes Jr. (Riggens) is currently in ICU with a ventilator. He had two surgeries, went through cardiac arrest, and was performed CPR. It is very hard for his family and friends at the time.

His wife Rosa Y. Reyes was in the hospital for 6 days. She has a broken leg and her foot is all shattered and will be having surgery.

My nephew and his little family are going through physical, emotional, and mental hardship. Thus they need to follow up with a doctor's appointment and therapy for their long journey of recovery.
