Dylan's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Dylan McKee was involved in a very tragic car accident on Sunday night October 2nd. He was taken by helicopter to Lincoln NE where he remains in the ICU.
Thankfully his parents Kelly & Larry were in Nebraska to watch him play football, and have been by his side since.
He has 2 punctured lungs, multiple broken ribs and a broken femur.
He had surgery Monday October 3rd to place a rod in his leg for the femur which was broke in 4 places. He also had more scans done and his head, neck & back all look good.
Tuesday October 4th they were able to remove the breathing tube and he is now breathing on his own.
He remains Critical but stable.
This is going to be a very long road for him and his family. Dylan will remain in the hospital a minimum of 2 weeks and will then have to go through physical therapy.
Because of the severity and multiple injuries everything remains fluid, the day to day needs and the day to day progress.
Kelly and Larry will be staying by his side through his recovery.
While we cannot take away the pain and fears they are experiencing, we would like to help support them financially. Kelly and Larry are going to be off of work to be with Dylan at this time.
The out of pocket medical expenses alone I cannot begin to imagine but at this time Kelly and Larry are staying in a hotel and when they eat (we keep reminding them they must) having to purchase meals out.
Anything you are able to contribute would be most appreciated. Please continue to pray for him and his family and please feel free to share this.
We will continue to update this as things progress so please be patient and know they are very thankful for all of the prayers and well wishes.
