Eagle Academy for Young Men

I am writing this on behalf of a very special and successful school for boys.

Eagle Academy for Young Men is a boy’s school located in Brooklyn NY.  This school does it’s absolute best to raise young boys into educated, disciplined well-rounded young men.  These young boys are groomed to become young men with the expectation that they will positively contribute to the world.  Students who attend this school soar to success with an over 90% graduation rate. 

Football at this school is a key component to this success.  For the last two years, despite not having their own field to practice on, or even a fully functional weight room, these boys have brought home the championship. 

As a result, the football program at Eagle Academy Ocean Hill has grown in leaps and bounds.  The coaches of Eagle Academy find joy in giving the boys their best.  However, part of providing the best is giving these players a proper weight room.  Lifting weights play a very important role in many sports ESPECIALLY FOOTBALL.

This go fund me page has been created with the hope that  enough money will be collected to provide a proper weight room for the team as well as the other sports programs in the school.  This contribution  in addition to being a part of a team, will enhance the football program; continue the positive development of young men in an effort to become tomorrow’s leaders, and provide positive experiences to the young men both in and out of school.

I can’t begin to express what this would mean to the coaches, the boys, the school and community.  As the President and CEO of the Eagle Academy Foundation stated, “We must enact an all-hands-on-deck approach to educating young men of color, linking teachers, parents, principals, community leaders, and providing quality in- and out-of school experiences.”
