Hi, my name is Jan Higdon. I am one of the nurses accompanying the missionary team from Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman, Louisiana. The mission team will provide medical support & minister to the people in Romania over the last 2 wks of March '23.
- We will be ministering and providing medical care. The money raised will help cover travel expenses only.
- We will provide medication for the people at the ministry's expense
- Part of the ministry team will be renovating Camp Hope in Rasnov, Romania
Pastor Wilton Wall of Sweetwater Baptist Church will be part of the team. Partnered with IAM - International Access to Missions, founded by George Pordea, a former Romanian pastor and Hope Baptist Church, located in Brasov, Romania. Hope Baptist Church is the sponsor for Camp Hope in Rasnov.
Hope Baptist Church is the mother church to seven different Romanian village churches. There will be multiple medical clinics and worship services provided by the mission team at these churches, with an emphasis on spreading the Gospel.
