Mission Trip to Romania
Donation protected
I've always wanted to go on a mission trip! Specifically, I've always said, " If I ever get a chance to go on a mission trip, I want to go to Romania & work with Sally Sebo at the orphanage. " Earlier this year, as I was making my New Year's resolutions, I asked God to help me reach outside of my circle. At the time, I didn't know that prayer might include some children of a small orphanage in the city of Talpos, Romania. But, I am leaving to go to Romania on July 7th, Lord-willing!
Our mission team includes three special ladies from my church, Emmett Community Bible Church, and me. We will be doing a Vacation Bible School for the orphanage children in the mornings & working with the gypsy teens at the local Fellowship Center in the afternoons. We each have our own specific job to do...my job will be to help with the Bible drama & to be in charge of the Games & outdoor fun activities. I teased my team that they gave me those jobs because I was the fun one! :)
To go on this once-in-a-lifetime, dream-come-true mission trip, I will need to raise around $2,000. There's a slogan in the mission world that says: A heart to give, a heart to go. I have the heart to go...in fact, I can't wait to see what God has in store! Would you have a heart to give?
Thank you for sharing in this journey with me, whether it be in prayer or in giving. May God bless you!
