Chad Londry Medical relief Fund

Donation protected
My name is Terra, I set this page up to help a wonderful family in their time of need. I have had the privilege of being friends with the entire Londry family for almost 30 years. Chad, the eldest son, is a proud man, a giver, and one of the nicest guys you'll meet. He works hard to care for his family and friends and it's our turn to give something back, to show him we love him!

Early this summer Chad was diagnosed with a disease called Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). This disease prevents the marrow from producing useful blood to fight off infection. The only cure is a Bone Marrow Transplant. Thanks to wonderful people who stepped up to donate through BE THE MATCH.ORG, they now have 2 perfect marrow matches for Chad. So, now the real work truly begins. Chad will have to spend his first month at Stanford Hospital for the initial transplant procedure. Then he will have to rent an apartment in Palo Alto, close to the Hospital for further treatment, probably lasting another 100 days. After, Chad will return home for what could be an extensive recovery. (possibly a year!) Thank God his insurance will cover most of the medical costs, but losing what may end up being a year’s salary and paying for an apartment in Palo Alto for several months (all the while still having to cover all the expenses at their current home) will be financially devastating. Lisa, Chad, and Haley are a wonderful family who need your help to get through this challenge. This family has given so much to so many, always the first to step up when others needed help. If you know any of the Londry family, you know this to be so true.  Please, please help. If you can make a financial donation, they would be so very grateful, and if you just can’t afford that, would you please contact https://bethematch.org/,  just provide a cheek swab (no more invasive painful marrow procedure!)  Get in the databank. The life you save could be yours, or someone you love!   In the words of Marley, "every little ting, gonna be alright" … with a little help from my friends… God Bless you, and I thank you for reading this and giving whatever you can, even if it’s a little prayer. We’ll take it all !!!
