Heal Jason....again

Jason's health took a turn for the worse in 2012.  Up until then he was hardly ever sick.  The kids would bring all sorts of germs home and the rest of us got colds and flus.  We would be sick for a week or longer.  If he did catch a cold he'd be sick for maybe 1 day.  That's why his illness in the summer of 2012 seemed unusual.  He was having flu like symptoms: extreme fatigue, fevers and aches and pains.  He NEVER complains.  When he is in pain the only way I know is if I ask.  Our family Dr. was convinced he had Lyme disease.  Less than one week later he suddenly lost his vision and we discovered he had brain tumors.  We attributed his symptoms to the tumors and began our quest to save the husband and father we couldn't live without.  God blessed us tremendously throughout our ordeal.  Many of you blessed us as well.  Long story short, alternative treatments in Canada, chemo, success, relapse, radiation, remission!  Jason has had several tumor-free MRIs. Though the cancer severely damaged his optic nerves leaving him legally blind,  we felt like we were finally in the clear, on the upswing so to speak.  BUT he still wasn't feeling well.  The pain in his joints, fatigue, sleep disturbance, muscle aches and headaches haven't gone away.  In fact, they seem to be more persistent.  When we visited our naturopath she recommended testing for Lyme.  The test came back positive.  He's probably had it all along.  Due to his history of cancer, his treatment will need to be swift and extensive.  We face battles with our insurance company, disrupted work schedules, hours of driving, testing, waiting, childcare needs.  Our Dr. believes that his treatment will be only partially covered by insurance.  We will be so grateful for any help you are able to give whether you lift us up in prayer or feel led to make a donation.  Thank you.  Jason is a fun-loving, devoted, optimistic, hard-working husband and father.  Your donations and prayers mean the world to us.
