Help Boe rebuild his home
Donation protected
My name is Christine. I just moved to a new town a few months ago. We have a wonderful neighbor named Boe. His house burnt down just a few short weeks after we moved in. For the last 3 months he has been living outside his burned home under a red umbrella. He was offered a place to stay in a shelter but they told him he would have to give his dog to the pound. He refused, he found this sweet dog as a puppy, starving, covered in fleas and terrified of people. He nursed him back to health and has gone without so much just to make sure his dog has what he needs. He has been trying to gather enough money to get a small camper for him to live in. He was recently robbed in Anderson and has now started over at square one to get together enough money. He is almost 60 on Social Security and gets a Meager $500 a month. He buys what little food he can and attempts to save the rest to re build his home. He has a pace maker and has a foot injury that's slowed him down greatly. I want to raise enough money to help him get a small camper and get his water and power reconnected. He will need a few permits as well. I have contacted a few rescues to help with Manson, his amazing dog. This man has offered nothing but kindness and food he can't afford to give to myself and my husband and children. Each day I see him he doesn't complain even when I know he hasn't eaten. He never complains about the weather. He is always happy and just working on getting his house back. I want to raise him some money to help him get back on his feet and live like any American should be able to live. I want to show him the same kindness he shown me and my family. So if your still reading please find it in your heart to donate any amount so this man will not longer be homeless. Winter time is coming and I fear the worst for him if he can't find shelter. Thank you!
