Kyle's Fundraiser

Please help support a good friend of mine, Sherry Broadwell and her family in this tragic time. Sherry has been flying to and from NYC the last week and has endured travel and medical expenses, time lost from work, etc... and now will have Kyle's memorial/funeral expenses. I am starting this fundraiser because I honestly don't k ow how else to help. No words can make this better... but every dollar could help. Kyle was diagnosed with an alpha one antitrypsin deficiency which is basically a genetic disease that attacks the healthy antibodies in your system and it destroyed his liver. His was an extremely rare form. There was only one option and that was to have a liver transplant. Last Thursday he very ill and Sherry got him to the emergency room while his mother took care of Luke... He began to have some massive internal bleeding all of a sudden and they had to rush him into surgery. They were able to stop the bleeding and he was air lifted to New York City to Montefiore in the Bronx where he got originally set up onto the transplant list. He stayed in the ICU for a few days down there and then was stable enough to be released to a nearby apartment. However yesterday he started having the bleeding again and they rushed him by ambulance back to Montefiore and he underwent surgery. He passed during surgery and is now with God. My heart breaks for Sherry and Luke and his family. Please help if you can. HUGS TO SHERRY, LUKE AND FAMILY
