New Bridges for Haitian Success, Inc. is a Providence, Rhode Island not-for-profit organizaton focused on assisting the local Haitian community. While our organization works closely with peoples who come to the United States, we are closely tied with family members and organizations back home in Haiti. Our 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organziation is an ethical, small NGO operating intimately with community members.

The Washington Post (October 16, 2016) estimates that 1.4 million Haitians (1/10th of the country's population) is in humanitarian need. Our organization, New Bridges for Haitian Success wants to link aid, community commitments and service across borders. From Providence, Rhode Island to Belle-Anse, Haiti we are busy with our local initiative for Hurricane Relief for Victims in Belle-Anse, one of the hardest hit locations in southern Haiti and a community with local ties to one of Providence's local leaders. While Bernard Georges now makes his life here in Providence, he calls Belle-Anse home with intimate familiar connections.

Belle-Anse is located on the southern coast near the Dominican Republic.



New Bridges for Haitian Success is collecting donations and funds to help with aid in the midst of devastation. We are actively looking to raise tangible donation items such as non-perishable food items, water, medical donations, and clothes donations. Yet, due to spikes in cholera outbreak, we see an immediate need WHICH YOU CAN HELP.

We hope to meet the immediate needs of housing. Families are without homes. With no homes children sleep in the waterlogged streets and run health risks due to illnesses such as cholera, hunger, exposure to elements and are bitten by animals. 


OUR INTENT IS TO RAISE ENOUGH FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT 20 HOUSES.

Cost to construct one simple home: $1,200.00

Under the leadership of Bernard Georges, New Bridges for Haitian Success will send a small delegation of our board members to deliver donations and funds directly to those in need to Belle-Anse. We will conduct a needs assessment, distribute aid items in a responsible manner, and begin the process of rebuilding. While on the ground our delegation will film and document our process for transparency. As a small non-profit organization we can ensure integrity and transparency in our work to give immedite help to a community connected to this Providence community. Your contribution will be tracked, documented, delivered and publicly thanked.
