Haiti Medical Mission Trip
We are a group passionate and motivated high school students in Miami currently fundraising for our initiative to bring medical students and over the counter medications to the children and villagers of Lamacette, Haiti. Located about two hours outside of Port au Prince, the villagers suffer from pure poverty. The land is too dry for natural farming, they have a limited water supply within walking distance, and their school is constructed out of sticks and mud. Most importantly, the physical health of the villagers is poor and declining. During the spring, we will travel with the medical students to have them undertake basic medical examinations for nearly a week. The medical students will also help educate the villagers on overall health awareness and the use of over the counter medications and supplies, sustaining a healthier life for beautiful people of Lamacette.
Thank you for you time and interest in our efforts. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.
