Denise Smejkal Knight; A loving mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and friend.  
In August 2011 she was diagnosed with  fourth stage metastasized breast cancer, she spent a total of 15 months doing chemo and radiation treatment. In November 2012 she was cancer free, but was also informed it was possible to come back. November of 2015 she delevoped a headache that never went away also dizziness, fainting, and disorientation. She informed her primary care doctor, radiologist, and oncologist. They didn't want to run tests because "her numbers were too high." April 2016 she had arrangements made with a neurologist that found a tumor the size of a tennis ball on her brain. She was sent to Jacksonville Mayo Clinic for emergency surgery, the cancer had returned interfering with the portion of her brain that controls the motor functions on the right side of her body. Some of the tumor was successfully removed, however she still needs further treatment including radiation and rehabilitation. She was trying to do odds and ins seamstress work, but when the symptoms started the lack of function in the right side of body prevented her from working. Her health insurance doesn't cover a majority of the medical expenses. Still paying previous medical expenses and regular living expenses have added a tremendous financial difficulties on top of emotional stress to her and her family.
