Romsey Young Carers

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Romsey Young Carers and every donation will help.

Romsey Young Carers are currently in the most challenging period of their 20 year existence with the increase in need for their services; the number of young carers has increased from 100 to over 170 young carers since 2020. As a service they don’t have any recourse to public funds or receive any formal support from local authorities and rely predominantly on grants and donations to maintain our services. The service is focused on the young people and families and all donations are focused on their direct support.

If current funding trends continue, they will be at risk of having to reduce their services and consider staff cuts in the very near future, ultimately putting the whole charity at risk.

The services they provide to my children are invaluable. As well as the term time clubs, fun outings and residentials, Romsey Young Carers provide support with my children's wellbeing. It's such an amazing charity.
