Last June my brother, sister and I heard news that we never would have anticipated, our youngest sister Gail has brain cancer. I am reaching out to you today to help our sister receive the treatment necessary for this devastating disease that has robbed her of vitality, and the quality of life most of us take for granted. Gail has always been generous to friends and family, and it is our time to give back. We want her in our lives today and in the future. Her husband, three daughters, three grandchildren, and many extended family members are on a roller coaster ride that they want to end.
Gail has undergone surgery to successfully remove the tumor, then chemo and radiation to treat the precancerous cells, which has put a tremendous stress on her physically and emotionally. But this cancer is relentless and is back, it wants to win. The new treatment is experimental and costly, $100,000 is the entry price. The travel and additional costs are an unknown. The loss of our mother two years ago to cancer was heartbreaking, and now we face the loss of our youngest sibling. Please help Gail fight and let us keep her in our lives.
