Zamora_Fuentes Fire Relief Fund

Terry and Jen Zamora are both military vets. They have both served with honor during very trying times in their lives. Perhaps it was their military training that took over on November 21, 2020. That day they nearly lost everything. While relaxing in their home they heard beeping and smelled smoke. Terry went to investigate, the house was on fire. Jen had foot surgery several weeks before and was confined to a mobility scooter. Their son Daniel was upstairs in his room. It was due to Terry's quick thinking by alerting the family to leave the house that brought them into action. The house quickly filled with smoke as the family fled the home. Daniel was met with a "wall of smoke" as he and his bird fled his room. Jen also had to battle the smoke as she made her way from the home. It is a matter of great relief that they all survived. They were transported for smoke inhalation and other minor injuries to a local hospital.
Kaleb whom also lives with his parents in the home was staying with a friend. The family was relieved he was not home but worried for him when he found out what had happened with his family. Brie their eldest daughter no longer lives in the home but still had all of her child hood belongings in the home.
The family are all pet lovers. Many of you have a similar lifestyle that you consider your pets to be a part of your family. Most of the families pets survived the fire. Their two dogs, already mentioned bird, and one turtle survived. Several other "tanked" pets did not survive. (lizard, two other turtles, and various fish) Two larger tanks were located in the basement where the fire seemed to have been concentrated.
Now the hard work begins. All of the families belongings are a total loss... They are still waiting and working with insurance for the home. The Zamora/Fuentes family appreciate the community coming together in support of them through these trying times only a few days before Thanksgiving. Due to this outpouring of support and love they are setting up this fund to make it easier for those that have asked to help. They are so grateful that soo many people have come together wanting to assist this amazing family!
