Helping the Jones Family

On Sunday, August 22nd, 2021, the Faulkner and Jones families experienced an unthinkable tragedy. Carter Jones, Donny and Carla’s youngest son, and Maci Faulkner, Cheryl and Barry’s youngest daughter and Carson’s long-time girlfriend, were in a terrible car accident that took Maci’s life and left Carter with serious injuries that required him to be airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. While his condition is no longer life-threatening, he has a long road to full recovery. Donny and Carla are currently staying in a hotel in Birmingham to be as close as possible to Carter while also traveling back to Tuscaloosa to support Carson during this difficult time. To help relieve them of some of the financial burden this will cause, this GoFundMe page has been created. The bills will pile up very quickly between trips to and from Birmingham, hotel costs, and medical expenses. As we all know, when it rains, it pours. This sweet family has been through so much in such a short amount of time, and we ask our community of friends and loved ones to come together to help in their hour of need.
