Jaydyn Coons as she recovers from car accident

Hi, my name is April and I am raising money for my 19 year old daughter, Jaydyn Coons.
On November 26th, Jaydyn was headed back home from celebrating Thanksgiving with her father in Warsaw, MO. While driving, she went slightly on to the right shoulder of the road. Trying to get her S-10 back on the road, she over corrected which sent the truck into a spin out. It then crossed to the opposite side of the road and down into a deep ditch. This caused the air bags to deploy. The truck then started rolling and she was ejected. She woke up to see her truck crashed into a tree and on fire.
Some kind people stopped to help her. A mother and her daughter pulled her up to the road just before the truck exploded when the fire got to the gas tank. Another lady that had stopped got my number from Jaydyn and called me to say she wrecked, while the others contacted 911. A gentleman that was there helped her by putting a neck pillow on to stabilize her neck until emergency crews showed up.
At the hospital, we learned she sustained two broken vertebrae in her neck and three broken vertebrae in her back. One of the broken vertebrae in her neck had a fragment completely broken off that was pressing on her nerve causing severe pain in her left shoulder of she attempted to move it. She has also lost the feeling in her left thumb and index finger.
On Monday, November 28th, the neurosurgeon performed surgery to remove the fragment so Jaydyn could have use of her arm again. He also fused the vertebrae (C5, C6, C7, and T1) in her neck. He said he had to change how he did this after looking at everything. As there was not much of the C6 vertebrae left to put any screws in like he originally planned. So there are now three screws at the top and three screws at the bottom of what he fused together.
Jaydyn is now in a cervical-thoracic brace to stabilize all the fractures. She has a five pound limit on lifting anything. They said there will be no driving while she is on the medications they prescribed for the pain from her injuries. All of this has made her unable to continue working at the daycare and spending her days with the children she loves.
The loss of the truck she worked so hard through all four years of high school to buy, has left her heartbroken. The fire also took all the belongings she had in it. These items included her glasses, cell phone, wallet, hoodies, flannel shirts, leather jacket, all her welding equipment, pool cues, her nephew's carseat (as she brought him home everyday from daycare), personal momentos, and all the Christmas presents she had just bought black Friday shopping with her dad.
Another devastating loss to her, someone we thought was a hospital worker walked into her icu room and took the bag that had all her jewelry in it before the lady quickly walked off. The bag contained her body jewelry and gauges. However, the most meaningful jewelry to her was her class ring. As well as a ring from her grandfather, who passed away earlier this year.
While Jaydyn's family and friends are very grateful to still have her here! This has taken a toll on her. Going from being a highly active and very social young lady to being confined to a recliner. This way we are able to get her up and lay her down with some ease. She will be doing physical therapy in hopes to get her back to doing the things she used to do.
With her having many months of not working ahead, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
