Oreo's Emergency Vet Bill

Oreo, the sweetest tuxedo cat in the East Village, needs your help. He’s a neutered, 15-year-old stray, local to the neighborhood.

Oreo recently exhibited serious signs of illness - he was drooling and had a swollen mouth. There was real concern that he’d ingested rat poison, so off to the vet he went. It was determined that Oreo needed emergency oral surgery. 6th & B Community Garden member and faithful Oreo fan MM Serra has paid the bill in order for Oreo to receive the immediate critical care he needed.

We hope Oreo’s community of friends can come together to help cover the cost of this substantial bill as soon as possible. 

Oreo can often be seen around the neighborhood, he visits the 6th & B Garden regularly. He is now healthy, happy, and on the mend!

All donations will go directly toward reimbursing MM Serra. We've increased the fundraising goal to slightly above the bill total in order to account for administrative fees. All funds raised in excess of the total vet bill (after fees) will be donated to the 6th & B Community Garden.
