Tony Pro's Medical Fund

My name is Gloria and this is my dad, Tony Provenzano. He is a father of two, a brother to four, and an uncle to many. My father has been a carpenter for about thirty years. He has always been the strong and dedicated provider for both my brother and I. He loves to cook just as much as he loves to eat his delicious meals. He has a great sense of humor (i.e: claiming to be buddy-buddy with Bob Marley, and convincing him that he needed to write a song about THREE little birds instead of two). He has a tough exterior, but anyone close to him knows that he is a softy.
About a month ago, my dad's face swelled to about double its normal size. He went to the hospital to find out what was wrong. After several tests, doctors concluded that he had stage IV small cell lung cancer, a type of lung cancer closely associated with smoking. He immediately started radiation treatments to shrink the tumors which were so large they were blocking off bloodflow to his head and neck. His tumors shrank and his face resumed its normal size and shape. However, with stage IV cancer, he has been told that he has limited time left. Chemotherapy is not a good option for him, as it has no success in curing cancer in the late stages and its side effects (nausea, weightloss, and weakness, to name a few) are terrible. It might prolong his life, but it is, overall, not worth it, as it would only make him very sick and frail. However, after many long hours of research together, we have found a possible solution that is much more appealing and increases my father's chance of survival in a big way.
Alternative therapies, such as hypothermia therapy, sonodymanic therapy, insulin potentiation therapy (IPT), oxygen treatments, and virotherapy, are much more likely to extend my father's life in a way that will not cause him weakness or frailty, and even have a high chance of completely curing his cancer. However, such treatments won't be covered by insurance, as insurance only covers traditional treatments. The purpose of this gofundme page is to raise enough money for my father to receive the alternative treatments that may help save his life. Any donation, regardless of size, helps. If you cannot donate, sharing this page is a great and helpful alternative. My younger brother and I would be eternally grateful for your donation to our beloved father's medical fund.
