Hello everyone. My wife Aly and I are raising funds to help our cousin Yisel Hernández Oliva. She needs funds for specialized treatment against cancer that invades her body and threatens her life and the emotional stability of her children and her family. We are creating this account because we have no other options. Her husband had to leave his job to care for her and their two children. Now he’s working at night and is their only financial support.
In 2018, at 27, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She underwent various treatments such as chemotherapy (serums), multiple surgeries (including a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy) and radiation, blood tests, scans, etc. ... During that difficult time, in 2019, we lost her mother, my aunt, to breast cancer as well. Yisel couldn't even say goodbye to her mom because she was receiving her own treatment.
After a few months in recovery, during follow-up tests, unfortunately, the doctors detected cancer again. This time the tumor was found in her left lung. She underwent another surgery and received chemo treatment (tablets) for almost two years. God allowed those two years for the chemo to work, and she was able to recover. Sadly, a few weeks ago, they detected two new tumors. This time they are located close to the heart, between the two lungs, and a smaller one in the right lung. Hence, the physicians diagnosed metastasis. Because of that, she now needs another chemotherapy treatment (serums) that only God knows will work since the previous ones in 2018 did not help her as the doctors expected.
The purpose of this campaign is to help her visit a different hospital that is much more advanced in cancer treatment. They offer many more treatment options from a multidisciplinary point of view. The issue is that that hospital is outside our state, so her medical insurance does not cover anything. Please, whatever you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Hola a todos. Mi esposa Aly y yo estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar a nuestra prima Yisel Hernández Oliva. Ella necesita fondos para un tratamiento especializado contra el cáncer que hoy invade su cuerpo, y atenta contra su vida y la estabilidad emocional de sus hijos, y familia. Estamos creando esta cuenta porque no nos queda otro recurso. Su esposo tuvo que dejar su trabajo para cuidar de ella y sus 2 niños. Ahora él trabaja durante la noche y es el único sustento económico que tienen.
En el 2018 a los 27 años le diagnosticaron un cáncer de mama, etapa 4 por lo que fue sometida a varios tratamientos como quimioterapia (sueros), varias cirugías (incluyendo un mastectomía doble y una histerectomía) y radiaciones, pruebas de sangre, scan etc... Durante ese tiempo tan difícil, en el 2019 perdimos a su mamá, mi tía, a causa de un cáncer de mamas también. Ni siquiera pudo despedirse de su mamá de por estar en el proceso de su tratamiento.
Luego de un tiempo de recuperación, en las pruebas de seguimiento le detectaron cáncer de nuevo; pero esta vez en el pulmón izquierdo. Fue sometida a otra cirugía y de nuevo al tratamiento de quimio, pero en tabletas, por casi 2 años. Luego de haberse recuperado porque dios permitió que esos 2 años la quimio funcionara, ahora en el presente le detectaron dos tumores nuevos. Esta vez están cerca del corazón, entre los dos pulmones, y uno más pequeño en el pulmón derecho, por lo que le diagnosticaron una metástasis. Debido a eso, ahora necesita otro tratamiento de quimioterapia (sueros) que solo dios es el que sabe si puede funcionar ya que el anterior en el 2018 no funcionó como los medicos pensaban, y por ello todas las operaciones.
El objetivo de esta recaudacion es poder ayudarla a que se atienda en un hospital mucho más avanzado en el tratamiento del cáncer y que ofrece muchas mas opciones de tratamiento desde un punto de vista multidisciplinario. Lo que ocurre es que ese hospital se encuentra fuera de nuestro estado por lo que su seguro medico no le cubre nada. Por favor lo que Ud. pueda donar sera muy apreciado.
