Help for Mabel to wheel as she can’t walk

Note from Arabella's Parents : This was Arabella's idea so we are fully supporting her with it (and we also love Mabel to pieces - seeing her crying in pain at school pickup is heartbreaking)

Second Note from Arabella's parents: We have been utterly blown away by the support - and the best thing is Mabel knows nothing about this yet. We have spoken with Mabel's mum and she is lost for words, this is going to make a huge difference to Mabel and her family. With that in mind, I've changed the target to the sky is the limit, and thank the wonderful people of Bishops Cleeve for their support.

In terms of the extra money, we initially just wanted to get her a wheelchair, but this may go someway to getting pain relief and treatment sooner. Thank you again to all involved!

Hi, my name is Arabella I am 9 years old from Bishops Cleeve. I’m fundraising for my best friend Mabel. The doctors think she might have a rare form of arthritis. I know she’s been in so much pain in her legs, feet and knees.

We used to walk to school together everyday but now Mabel can’t walk to school, her mum has to drive her. I’d love to be able to buy Mabel her own wheelchair so she can walk to school again with me and her other friends. Also we would be able to push her around the play ground and show her what’s going on.

At the end of every school day she is in so much pain she is crying. I don’t like seeing my best friend cry.

I know Mabel will get some treatment soon, but the NHS wait lists are sooooooooo long. Her treatment will mean she can play football with me again and do street dancing but having a wheelchair will help her on her bad days.

Only a few months ago she won an award for Cleeve Belles, and now she cannot walk.

Currently her mum is hiring her a wheelchair which is very expensive, any help you can give even £1 will help me be able to buy Mabel a wheelchair.
