Christopher Hadges Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our beloved son, Christopher Hadges passed away suddenly in September. It has been somber holiday season for the Hadges family.
We are reluctantly asking for donations to help cover the expenses incurred with Chris' passing. Chris was young and had no life insurance. We were not prepared for this tragedy, emotionally or financially. We never imagined that we would have to endure the funeral planning and mourning of our youngest child.
We plan to scatter Christopher's ashes with a Celebration of Life ceremony in the Spring with our family and close friends.
During the week of Christopher's passing, his Dad Nicholas, was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Nick's accumulated medical expenses (since the end of September) are upwards of $5,000 for treatment, surgery, ER visits, ambulance fee, and overnight hospital stays. Nick's prognosis is very hopeful, however a follow up bladder biopsy is scheduled in January and his treatment will be ongoing.
We have managed to return to an almost full work schedule, but it has not been easy emotionally after losing Chris, or physically due the the number of Nick's hospital visits to Boston.
With any additional funds, we plan to set up a scholarship fund honoring Christopher's name for a young musician. This would help give meaning to his passing.
We appreciate any donations that will help us get through this tough period in our lives.
Sincerely,
Deb and Nick Hadges
