Support for Elias’s family

Elias Orlando Martinez, 19, died unexpectedly Oct 29, 2023. He was born November 6, 2003 in Edmonton AB, the son of Orlando A. and Denielle M. (Charest) Martinez. Elias attended Millet Elementary School and after moving to Nelson in 2013, attended Redfish, Trafalgar and then LVR. From the age of 9, Elias and his brother, Riel A. Martinez, have been dedicated to the sport of boxing, which has played an (important) part in the development of his character and mental stamina. In 2020, he moved to Surrey to work with his Father. Soon after met the love of his life, Nelly F. Andoh, and looked foward to starting a family of his own. 

One of the things that makes Elias particularly loved by people was that he was a good listener. He genuinely wanted to hear what you had to say.

Elias really loved adventuring in nature, and enjoyed every season (but Fall was his favorite)
