BENNY THE SUPERHERO

There are no words to describe how extremely proud I am of Ben aka Benny. Despite everything he is going through with his crohn's disease, he continues to push through his daily pain. He competed in the Tech Wars Bridge Building Competition at NCCC against 52 kids from different middle schools around WNY. He had to build a light weight bridge that was able to hold the most weight and he placed 1st. Tomorrow on February 23rd 2016 he will be having surgery for his crohens which will be to remove some of his intestines to have some ulcers removed. He is such a great guy he is 14 years old in 8th grade at lasalle prep, who does very well at school and gets good grades, and loves to play with his remote control cars and also loves to play baseball in the summer for the hyde park baseball teams and also enjoys soccer. Benny is also a great big brother who loves his two little sisters, he goes to their cheerleading events all the time even though sometimes he may not enjoy it lol but still goes because he loves his family. After surgery he will need 4 shots which his insurance only covers 2 of the shots the other 2 shots will cost his family $3000 each one, which can be a burden on a family during a time like this. Both of his parents work and I would love to relieve some of the financial burden from there minds so they can just enjoy time as a family and not need to worry on how they will get through this hard time.
