My name is Lalita Potluri, and I am reaching out to you all with a heartfelt request for your support in helping Susan Papernik, a strong and resilient 77-year-old woman who recently faced life-altering challenges.

Susan's journey began in Florida, where she tragically lost everything to Hurricane Ian. Despite the devastating setback, Susan remained determined and decided to start anew in Richmond. She currently works at Publix and is an independent woman, striving to be self-sufficient.

Unfortunately, fate had more challenges in store for Susan. Recently, she was involved in an accident, and her only means of transportation, her car, was completely totaled. The loss of her vehicle is a major blow as it prevents her from going to work, supporting herself, and maintaining her independence.

To help Susan get back on her feet, we are launching this fundraiser to raise funds for the minimum down payment required to purchase a certified preowned car. Susan has always been fiercely independent, and this vehicle is crucial for her to continue her job and support herself.
