Daniel Ray Alire passed away at the age of 32 on December 25, 2018.
For those fortunate enough to know Daniel, his passing comes as a shock given the positivity he always radiated, even in the face of adversity. He battled cancer for 10 years and went into remission 4 times; quitting was NOT in his vocabularly.
Daniel’s keen wit and sense of humor will be missed. His spirit and energy lit the rooms and lives of those who knew him; from his physicians and the oncology staff, to his second family here at Pinnacle Weightlifting Club. He was a devout Christian, music lover, photographer and had hopes of pursuing a career in game design.
Daniel’s fight against cancer was not only emotionally exhausting for his family, but financially draining as well. Although his mother wouldn't have done it any other way, she was unable to work while caring for him these last few months. The aim of this fundraiser is to raise the $15,000 needed to cover the costs of Daniel’s funeral, medical expenses and help his family get back on their feet.
Funeral details will be announced on this campaign page in the days that follow.
The Alire family thanks you for your support and efforts in helping coordinate this honoring of Daniel’s life. Please take the time to add your thoughts and memories in the comments below.
Thank you and God bless
