2X Everesting vs Mental Illness
What's bigger and crazier than just completing a single Everest (8,848m of elevation) cycling challenge? Completing a double Everest! Well, that's just what Corey is going to be doing on Mt Seymour, starting in the early morning hours of August 19. He's successfully completed two Everest cycling challenges in the past, and this time he's doubling his efforts, all in support of fighting mental illness, which is something he has struggled with throughout his life.
DONATE today to help support Corey's riding efforts and crazy hill climbing! Our goal is to raise $1 for every meter Corey climbs on August 19. That's 8,848m x2! How many meters will you pledge for Corey???
All proceeds from the ride will go to The Kettle Society (http://www.thekettle.ca/). If you'd like a tax receipt for your donation, please message us, and we'll make arrangements for them to issue one for you.
JOIN US: Sign-up, challenge yourself, and show support for Corey; whether you climb once, or climb multiple times, you'll be helping put an end to the stigma around mental illness, and showing support for those who are fighting mental illnesses. Visit our Event Brite page to sign-up for the ride.
Don't want to ride? You can still get involved! Volunteers are needed for the event; people to help organize riders, people to help with mechanical issues, and even people to cheer on riders who are there challenging themselves on the climbs.
