Save a sight!

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

I want you to close your eyes for a moment, then imagine if you stay in that darkness forever... May Allah forbid.

When I was young my dad used to tell me: If you would like to know how much Allah blessed you with His favors just close your eyes to know. We take the blessing of our sight for granted, but sometimes Allah chooses to test us.

One of my dear friends is now being tested, and she needs eye surgery to save her sight. It is not an easy surgery, and it could cause many complications. She is a mother who needs to take care of her children. She is a wife who needs to take care of her sick husband. She is a worker who needs to continue supporting her family. Above all, she is a human who needs to save her sight.

I know her as a very sincere and hard-working person, a very kind and helpful soul, and a very caring and supportive individual.

Despite all the hardships of this surgery, her insurance won't cover its expenses. I decided to start this fund, because it is our turn to pay back a little of what she used to give people.
