Jessica's Breast Cancer Battle

Hello,

My name is a Jonathan Delgado, the younger brother of Jessica Delgado and I am here asking for help on behalf of my strong sister.

My sister has always been a go getter that worked hard for everything she earned. When I was a kid, she had like 3 part time jobs in high school. When she had my niece in her teens she worked even harder, putting herself through college and working hard to keep them afloat. It has always been something I looked up to my sister for. She has been on the grind ever since and the years flew by. My sister is 34 now and my niece soon to be 16.

She was diagnosed last year with invasive ductal carcinoma. As a hardwoking single mom, she has never been the type to ask for help, not even after toughing out months of chemo. Things have changed though.

This month she was given a two week notice that she would be surplused from the company she has given 8 years of her life to. This is a corporate way of telling a person to find another job. With an uncertain financial future, recent double mastectomy and the loss of the safety net of insurance, she needs help.
