Jesus Antonio 'Tony' Vega Camacho , 18 yrs old, was full of life, a loving son and brother, a great friend to many. He was also a hard worker and recent graduate of Leadership Public Schools Charter High School (LPS) in Hayward, CA. Recently, he was persuing his enrollment and career goals with Chabot College. He had so much to live for but unfortunately, his life was cut short.
On September 23rd, Tony was rushed to the hospital and again soon after on October 9th. Unfortunately, he would not be released again. He suffered from heart failure and an unknown virus in his lungs. His father, Jesus Vega, stayed by his side day and night, alongside Claudia Camacho, mother and my sister-in-law. He was transported to four different hospitals until finally arriving at Kaiser Santa Clara. They watched their son go into cardiac arrest and take his last breath last night, on November 6th, after fighting over a month his battle with heart failure.
He leaves his mother who is a full-time caregiver to Tony's two younger siblings. His father, Jesus Vega, has not worked since September 23rd in order to be by his son's side caring for him while in the hospital. The family has been without income and has no means of affording all the funeral expenses in their son's unexpected death.
Please help in making a donation in any amount to Jesus Antonio 'Tony' Funeral Fund. Anything and everything is appreciated.
We appreciate all your support and condolences
Sincerely,
Erika Camacho, Tony's aunt
