Eddie's medical fund

I am a 62 year old man who has been out of work since last December. I have been draining savings and am very finacially stressed. My 3 year old Bichon Frise was attacked by a coyote and is fighting for his life at the AIMSS hospital. I couldn't bring myself to put Eddie "down" but can't afford the approximately $15k to $20k  to treat him including the aftercare for the next couple of months. I originally asked for only $7k because that was in line with the original estimate. But his injuries were so massive that the costs kept exploding. He is at AIMSS on 9th ave.  You may call them at [phone redacted] to verify his treatment and the actual expenses that are being incurred. They are open 24 hours a day. You may also visit him if you like. I am hoping they will post pictures on their website www.aimss-sf.com so you can follow his progress. You may also send checks directly to AIMSS and note on the check that it is for Eddie and they will account for it. I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity that you have shown already. I wish I could really express the depth of my gratitude. I also wanted to let everybody know that the SFPD was fantastic. All of the officers had sincere sympathy. They were able to keep us calm while rescuing Eddie. I hope I'm not ruining their reputation by telling everybody how kind and gentle they can be:).  I wish I knew their names so I could thank them personally. Without them there would be no Eddie. He is such a loving dog and we are truly best friends. His injuries are severe. He is currently in the ICU fighting for his life.
