The League for Fastpitch Softball
We are an organization with individuals that have over 20 years of coaching, teaching, caring, leading, and creating opportunities for young people. We seek to empower the often forgotten: the young girls in some of the most challenging environments in New York City. We intend to do that through sport; Through Softball.
With your help , we will do this by first providing a safe environment where all girls are welcomed and are a priority. We will then provide structure and opportunities so that young girls can be most successful on and off the field. Lastly we will provide the resources and connections so that young girls can not only go to college but have a real chance to play softball in college.
Funds collected will go towards assisting The League with essential costs:
Insurance - $350
Umpires – $3,250 (10 Teams), $3,900 (12 Teams)
Balls - $770 (2 per game) - $1,120 (3 per game)
Cost of Running The League Season Playoffs (5 games)
Umpires - $300
Balls - $70
Championship Team Trophy - $75 - $100
Individual Champion Trophies - $96 ($6 per trophy, 16 trophies)
Bases - $260
T-shirts - $160
