Sara Needs A Little Help - Car Wreck

Our Rainbow Brite needs a little gold at the end of her Rainbow. Sara was in a car accident on Thursday 11/10/16. She went to the hospital where she found out that she had a broken pelvis (hip socket) and a lacerated liver. They care flighted her to Dallas to a trauma center where she is being cared for by a trauma team and is currently in critical condition in the ICU. She has been in excruciating pain. Today, they were able to repair her liver without surgery. The doctor felt confident that it would hold, but they will scan it again tomorrow to make sure. After her liver procedure, she was visited by the orthopaedic doctor about her pelvis. He stated that her original x-ray (taken before her transport) showed that her hip is still lined up but he is not confident that it will stay. If it shifts she will have to have surgery. They took another x-ray today and it still has not shifted, which is good news. She will have another x-ray tomorrow. If her liver and hip remain good tomorrow she will get to leave ICU. She will remain in the hospital though. She is improving, but is not out of the woods yet. She found out today that surgery or not, she CAN NOT WALK FOR 3 MONTHS!!!! Her Spirit is completely broken over this!!!She is such an independent person and her livelihood depends on her walking and standing.  She will not be able to work and is extremely upset about that since it is her busiest time of the year.  Our big hearted, sweet, life loving girl needs a little hope and help with her daily/monthly expenses.
