Charlene's wishes

We are trying to raise funds for a very special friend of ours. Charlene was diagnosed 2 years ago with Breast Cancer and after receiving treatment she briefly went into remission. Sadly after a recent Doctors appointment Charlene and her Family were told that not only has the Cancer returned but that it is now terminal.

Charlene has just celebrated her 34th birthday,she has a 14 year old Son and is a very caring,outgoing and popular person who has showed immense courage throughout her battle with this disease.

The purpose of this page is to raise funds to provide the means for Charlene to fulfil her "bucket list" and create as many memories with her Son,Family and Friends as possible! On 1st October ourselves along with other work colleagues,Friends and Family are taking part in a "Walk for wishes" leaving Liden Tesco Express and walking to other store's in the area including Wroughton,Freshbrook,Ramleaze then onto Priory vale,Abbey meads and then back to Liden - a total of 20.3 miles! We will be collecting donations on the day and we will be holding a Charity evening that night at Liden village community centre that will include a buffet,live music and other various activities. Tickets are £5.00 each and can be purchased from Kezza at Liden express or Jodie at Priory Vale express.
