Support Sandy's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
We are launching a GoFundMe campaign for my Aunt Sandy Wilson-Drummond, who is the owner of Vivian's Cafe in Verden, Oklahoma. After many months of weight loss, intense abdominal pain, and extensive testing, Sandy was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer in July 2024. Having always been extremely healthy and taking care of others' needs, this diagnosis came as a complete shock.
Sandy has worked at Vivian's Cafe her whole life and has owned it since 1994 when she purchased it from my grandmother, Vivian Hughes. She, along with her husband Bruce, have nurtured and maintained an extensive "Cafe Family." Sandy has devoted six days a week to providing delicious home-cooked meals and desserts for dozens of her customers—many who can be found there multiple times a week for breakfast, lunch, and/or the camaraderie atmosphere Vivian's Cafe is known for.
Sandy has given back to the community she loves time and again, but now needs our prayers and support as she battles her health crisis. Sadly, she has been forced to close the business that she loves due to the fight of a lifetime. We know that loss of wages can be devastating, especially amidst fighting to regain health. The family's goal is to alleviate the financial burdens so she can solely focus on healing her body.
We've been told that Aunt Sandy has a challenging journey ahead of her and every contribution will help ensure that she has access to every resource available to win this battle.
We respectfully thank you so much in advance for your donations, prayers and for spreading the word about this campaign.
