Shelly Johnson is an artist, musician, world traveler and lover of life! Those of you who know Shelly know her as an inspiring, generous, immensely positive person and a genuine friend to all. She sees the best in everyone and is quick to establish trusting, deep connections with others. We have known Shelly for over 40 years and can honestly and without hesitation vouch for her integrity, sincerity and altruistic nature.

Over 16 years ago Shelly manifested an off-the-grid existence in the high desert of New Mexico. She has tirelessly channeled her positive energy toward building Shanti Community-a transformative place of peace and inspiration. Shelly’s focus has always been promoting harmony, respecting nature, and building an inclusive and empowering community.

Shelly is now facing some significant personal challenges and this Go Fund Me is to help address legal expenses, help navigate changes in building and permit regulations and to manage the temporary suspension of her rental business and yoga retreats. It is intrinsic to her nature to sacrifice for others and to give well beyond receiving. We want to surround Shelly with love and support to help alleviate some of her financial burdens and to help preserve Shanti Community’s commitment to creativity, healing and wellness.
