HEART- Humanitarian Emergency Aid Response Team- NEEDS YOUR HELP!!We are an International natural disaster response team. H.E.A.R.T was established in 2005 After Hurricane Katrina ravished New Orleans killing over 2000 people and leaving thousands homeless! Our organization continues to respond to major catastrophes domestically and internationally. Our recent Natural Disaster efforts include the 1/12/2010 Earthquake that hit Port Au Prince Haiti and the recent Hurricane Mathews 10/2016 that destroyed the town of Jeremie Haiti. DOMESTIC CATASTROPHE HITS TEXAS HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF AIDHurricane Harvey crashes into Texas on 8/25/2017 the current death toll remains at 37 but is expected to rise and the water resides. As people continue to face catastrophic flooding the people of Texas are still in danger with thousands left homeless and without shelter others remain missing. Phase I -We deployed our team of five on 8/25/2017 in preparation for Harvey to make land fall. Our immediate efforts were to provide CCSAR (Critical Crisis Search and Rescue). We spent the days following Harvey Rescuing those in danger and trapped by rapidly rising flood water. We continued water rescues in several areas of Houston, Richmond, Bellaire, Alvin and Missouri Houston Texas. We coordinated other life saving chopper evacuations off roof tops with the Battalion Chief in Rock Port, and additionally set up two social media check in systems for the people of Victoria and the other areas that Hurricane hit. We worked around the clock fielding social media request for flood victims to reach out directly with us to insure they were given life saving methods and technics to prolong their chances of survival. We had two boats in areas hardest hit with over 8' of standing water. On Wednesday 8/30/2017 Law Enforcement and Fire Dept. Chiefs announced that Evacuations were finally under control and thanked us for all of our Collaborated efforts in assisting them. Phase II - Disaster relief work is to provide short term immediate aid and needed relief to those suffering by being displaced and now homeless living in Shelters in Huston. H.E.A.R.TS continued need for effort requires equipment, vehicles, and resources our team needs to provide relief. Our Crisis Emergency efforts begin moments following an Catastrophic event include, Search and Rescue, collapsed structural and water extractions of victims needing help from being trapped to providing medical extractions and triage of victims, transportation out of harms way and into safety, ultimately getting them to designated shelters in the surrounding areas. Once the immediate danger and all Search and Rescue efforts are successfully completed our mission objective moves to providing relief aid in way needed pending the type of disaster and its effect on those affected. Relief Aid supplies are purchased and delivered directly to our victims that we have contact with. Please support us as we give of ourselves to help our fellow men, women and children, to keep saving humanity.
