Help Sue with Her Living and Relocating Expanses
Donation protected
My name is Terri Mosley and I have started this campaign for my sister-in-law Sue who just lost her spouse in May of this year.
Due to the rising cost of living in California Sue can no longer afford to live here on her disability.
She is in the midst of downsizing and packing so she can be ready to move by the first week of September.
She will need to raise $2,000 for July and August rent and $7,000 (4500 for moving containers) to relocate to Oklahoma which would cover the cost to move her household ltems, some auto repairs, and travel expenses for fuel, lodging, and food. She will also have her emotional support animals be seen by a vet to make sure they are ready for traveling.
This is a difficult time for Sue as she prepares for this journey while in the midst of this she is also coping with the grief of losing her spouse. So please help in any way you can with words of encouragement and or any amount you can donate will go a long way to help Sue on this journey.
I would like to thank everone who have already donated it is greatly appreciated.
Sue's Story - Please help me with the cost to move out of state. I'm sure most people are aware of the plight facing seniors, disabled and low income Californians which has reached a critical point were individual people and families are unable to live in this state because of the rising cost of living. So this is where my story begins it was just over a year ago my partner of almost 10 years became seriously ill and with the help of family and myself we took care of her. In April of this year after battling so many medical crisis her illness took a turn for the worse and she was placed on hospice. Knowing her time was limited she and I decided to marry just shy of our 10-year anniversary. We were married on April 30th it was a celebration and a tribute of our life together. Our family surround us with their love and support. On May 11th at 5:30 in the morning she took her last breath and peacefully passed away in our home. She was the love of my life and I honestly don't know what to do without her here by my side. Before she passed away we talked about me going on with my life and making sure that I and our two cats would not become homeless. Over the years we have lived on a combined but limited income and we made it work. Now that she is gone I have no other choice because I'm at risk of becoming homeless I had to make the difficult descion to leave my home and the state I was born and raised in. I'm blessed beyond measure with the support of my family through this difficult time.
