Greetings to our friends, family, and members of the LUC community!

My name is Michael Panfil - I am a student at Loyola University of Chicago and an MSIV Cadet in our Rambler ARMY ROTC Battalion. For my senior project, I am looking to help honor and memorialize three Rambler BN alumni - CPT Fedele A. Cicero, CPT Walter J. Gutowski, and 2LT Andrew P. Luberda - who selflessly paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving up their lives during the Vietnam War. The goal of this GoFundMe campaign is to raise enough funds to cover the creation and installation of a commemorative plaque inside the Madonna della Strada Chapel, located on the Lakeshore Campus of Loyola University of Chicago.

The installation of this memorial will not only help the Loyola community remember their sacrifice, but also foster a sense of unity, gratitude, and patriotism in our local community. In creating this lasting memorial, we aim to ensure that future generations of Ramblers and Cadets will understand the meaning of their incredible sacrifice, as well as what it means to serve selflessly in the face of wartime adversity. This project is an opportunity for us as an organization to strengthen our community as we dedicate ourselves to supporting our fallen alumni.

All contributions are accepted and will go toward the design, creation, and installation of this memorial. Every donation, no matter what will bring the program one step closer to memorializing the sacrifice our alumni made and ensuring that their legacy lives on.
