3 Organs 4 Wheeler
Donation protected
Fellow Stevenson Titan classmates – one of our own, Chris Wheeler, could use our help.

Chris was born with congenital heart disease called Tricuspid Atresia - meaning he was born with 50% of a functioning heart. Doctors did not believe he would survive to his teen years. Fortunately, with medical advancements and numerous surgeries, Chris has beaten the odds. Unfortunately, as time has passed, his health started to decline and the doctors have now discovered he needs a heart, liver and kidney transplant. Chris is now living at UF Shands hospital in Gainesville, FL until he receives the three transplants. He will be hospitalized for months to years waiting for a donor.
Extra monetary support is needed for medical, food and traveling expenses now. After the transplant, Chris and Dawn will have expenses to reside in the Gainesville area (200 miles from home) for several months due to the multitude of doctors’ visits and procedures required after surgery.
Chris maintains a remarkably positive attitude through all of this. I approached him to see if we could help, and he and his lovely wife Dawn were reluctant to accept the offer. However, the reality of the challenges ahead have convinced them to allow us to help. A donation in any amount will be pooled together with others and will make a big difference for Chris and Dawn.
I’ve always been so impressed with the quality of the people from Stevenson. I know that you will do what you can to help. Please post this to your social media sites to ensure we reach everyone. Thank you!
