3 Peaks in 24 hours for the MS Society
As some of you may know my little sister Christina was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 2 years ago. She spent many weeks in hospital and still needs regular visits for infusions.
MS is an horrible autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to attack the body's brain tissue and nerves. There is no cure.
If you know Christina, you will know she likes a good complain. But I have never heard her complain once or try and get any sympathy even when she was first diagnosed. She's just been getting on with it and ALL of the appointments, not letting the disease get in her way.
The MS Society researches and develops new treatments, without these, Christina and many other people with MS, life could look very different. So please donate to help new, better treatments be developed.
Our plan:
We will start with Ben Nevis in Scotland, then drive down to Skarfell Pike in the Lake district and climb that through the night. We will then make our way to Wales to finish with Snowden. We hope to complete these 3 Highest peaks in 24 hours.
Thank you in advance for any contributions.
