3 SWIMMERS CAREER RETROSPECTIVE ALBUM
Donation protected
3 SWIMMERS was one of the most successful bands to emerge from early 1980s Seattle. The band rose from the ashes of influential Seattle/Olympia WA outfit The Beakers, led by Mark H. Smith. Smith was joined by fellow Beaker George Romansic, along with MacKenzie Smith, Colin MacDonald, and Fred Chalenor. Romansic and Chalenor have passed on, but not without leaving an indelible mark on both Seattle and national indie music.
The goal is to release a career retrospective album through the non-profit Salish Sea Arts Foundation. Songs included are from recently re-discovered analog masters and unreleased demos. All recordings are being restored to the highest standards by Seattle producer Jack Endino. Internationally known graphic design bigwig Robert Newman is the art director.
We're offering one official 3 Swimmers t-shirt (two designs!) and album to all donors of $50 or more. T-shirt sizes are Small to 3XL. ALL contributions will receive a High-Quality digital download of the album when it's released.
The Salish Sea Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, documenting, and archiving NW music history that might otherwise be lost.
